The P&C voted on its 2017 Forecasted Budget at it's Annual Budget Meeting on Monday 13th March.

The new requests for 2017 were prioritised and approved as follows:

Shade Sail To replace the shade sail over the playground outside rooms 18 and 19 (AKA school banking area) $5,000
Bike Enclosure To create a secure area behind the Library, for students to store their bikes, scooters and helmets $5,000
Funding for Parent Information Sessions To set aside money for the P&C to fund or partially fund parent information sessions, facilitated by experts during the year e.g. Cyber Safety or Protective Behaviours. Note: requests for this funding must be made at P&C Meetings $1,000
8 Nature Play Space To upgrade the area in the central playground that currently has woodchips with nature play elements. (NB: we aim to complete the majority of this work via Busy Bee with funds used to purchase equipment) $2,500
9 Purchase & Install CCTV Cameras To aid in maintaining a safe environment for staff and students, and to protect school property by discouraging trespassing, break-ins, vandalism and general misbehaviour during and after school hours. This will also need to be approved by the Board and Education Department. We are just approving funding availability. $4,000
10 Kindy & PP Outdoor Area Uplift To create open-ended play spaces for children that will support imagination, develop creativity and uplift the area by painting the cubby and a simple mural on the fence. (NB: Like the Nature Play Space project, the aim is to complete this via a Busy Bee and use the funds to purchase equipment or supplies) $3,500

Year 6 Leavers T-Shirts Subsidy Every year the P&C allocates $50 per graduating student towards the cost of their graduation shirt. In 2017 there are 42 year 6 students. $2,100
Allocation for Orchard upkeep A yearly allocation to cover maintenance and upkeep of the school's orchard $2,000
Canteen Equipment Upgrade Each year the canteen requires new equipment and to replace broken items. $500
Uniform Shop Each year the uniform shop requires new equipment and to replace broken items. $250
Total   $8,450

This equates to a total spend of $42,573 for 2017.
