As part of our Positive Behaviour Support Behaviour Program, every 4-6 weeks Woodlands PS have a whole school values focus, where we emphasize a particular school value in our teachings and everyday activities.
On Friday 17th August, Woodlands Primary School Junior Choir joined thousands of primary school students from around Western Australia to perform as part of Australia’s largest children’s choir. The One Big Voice Festival brings together thousands of children singing positive and uplifting songs in harmony.
As many of you know from attending P&C meetings, the school has been looking at a proposal for an artist to paint a mural on the wall facing the Early Childhood entrance gate on Teakwood.
The theme for this year’s Book Week is ‘Find your Treasure’.
Bookweek runs from 18th – 24th August. Woodlands students will be asked to dress up on Thursday 23rd August as a character or object from their most treasured book.
