Activities to be undertaken:
Kings Park education programs offer students a unique opportunity to learn about traditional Aboriginal culture through creative, interactive and engaging activities.
This program encourages students to respect and protect the natural environment while learning how to explore it safely. Students are introduced to bush skills with activities such as building shelters, finding drinking water, making safe camp fires and cooking damper. Using the basic principles of wellbeing and personal safety students apply first aid solutions for a range of common scenarios.
All students are to wear green school uniform and a hat - all named. Enclosed shoes must be worn. Each student will need recess and lunch. There are no rubbish bins in the Naturescape or at the Education Centre, therefore as part of our commitment to the environment, students are encouraged to bring waste-free lunches or take their rubbish away to recycle.
