PP – Year 1 students are allowed to borrow 2 books per week.

Year 2 – Year 6 students are allowed to borrow 4 books per week.

Book bags are required for borrowing – we lend bags to students who forget their own and ask that they are returned at the next classroom borrowing session.

Holiday borrowing is allowed if students have no overdues and bring their own library bag

Class Library Sessions

Each class visits the library once a week to give students a chance to return and borrow library books.

Lost and damaged books

Every chance is given to students to find their lost library books. In the case that they cannot be found, please talk to Mrs Neumann, who will advise on the cost of replacing lost books. Parents have the choice to either replace or pay for the lost books. Payment can be made by card in the school office or by direct transfer into the school bank account (please advise the office/Mrs Neumann by email if paying by this method). In the event books are found at a later date, paid monies are refunded.

Water damaged books are the library’s biggest challenge and students will be asked to replace or pay for damaged books.

Book club

Book club is run by the parents and ordered and paid for online with a debit/credit card.

When book club magazines are distributed please take the time to look through them wiht your child. All orders support our school library.
